It's made of high quality, premium glass and comes with an exchangeable bottom piece ("gempod"), filled with a selection of hand-picked gemstones. The patented gempod is manufactured by hand in the Austrian Alps. The VitaJuwels are sealed in a vial.  This makes it safe to use the gemstones to infuse the water with vibration.  It has been proven that gemstones put directly in water can emit toxic hazardous substances.
