Amethyst with Calcite 2426

This breathtaking amethyst geode has larger beautiful purple crystals with some calcite formations. Amethyst has been prized for centuries due to its luscious colour and inherent beauty. This particular piece is not polished on the edges, and has a cut base. The quality of this specimen is extremely high given the gorgeous deep purple color and clarity of the crystals; these features make Uruguayan amethyst particularly desirable.
