Morganite
Morganite is a sweet salmon-colored beryl, cousin to more familiar beryls like Emerald and Aquamarine. After its discoveries in California and Madagascar in the early 20th century, it was renamed Morganite in honor of financier and gem enthusiast J. P. Morgan. Up and coming in popularity as a diamond-alternative for engagement rings, Morganite is a lovely light-colored stone perfect for everyday wear.
